Meet and Treat is a relaxed one-on-one opportunity for students and young adults to sit down with Mrs. Kudsk at the Lighthouse, talk through goals, questions, and plans, and get personalized support. Whether you need help with career ideas, resumes, applications, school options, or life planning, we’re here to help—and we’ll treat you to a free cookie, brownie, lemonade, or Italian soda during your visit.

Spring Clothing Giveaway
Spring Clothing Giveaway
Join us at the Lighthouse Community Center for a free clothing giveaway for all ages. Clothing will be available for men, women, youth, and children while supplies last. Local agencies will also be on-site sharing helpful resources, and the Lighthouse Café will be open from 4:00–6:00 PM with a limited menu.

Teen Spring Into Bloom Activity
Join us for Spring Into Bloom, a free after-school flower planting activity for students at the Lighthouse. Participants will get to plant flowers in a pot to take home and enjoy while spending time in a fun and welcoming environment. Students are encouraged to RSVP in advance so materials can be reserved for them. Those who sign up ahead of time will get first priority for supplies and will also receive a free cookie or lemonade during the event. Space is limited.
Moms of Light - Create Resurrection Garden
Join Moms of Light on April 2, 2026, from 10–11 AM for a special Resurrection Garden activity. Registration is $10 per mom and includes supplies plus a small cookie/snack for mom and children attending. Specialty drinks and additional snacks will be available for purchase.

OHS Teen Health Fair
Join us at the 2026 OHS Teen Health Fair! Stop by the Othello High School corridor on Thursday, March 26 (11:00 AM–12:30 PM) to connect with local organizations and services that support teen health and wellness. The Lighthouse Community Center will be there along with partners like Adams County Fire District 5, CBHA Behavioral Health, SkillSource, Cruisers Driving Academy, and more—plus free giveaways and a chance to enter to win prizes (gift cards, speakers, headphones, backpacks, and more).
Screenagers - Growing up in the Digital Age
Free community screening of Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age on March 23 (5–7 PM) at the Lighthouse. Stay after the film for a brief discussion and beginner-friendly tips on parental controls. English event + Spanish subtitles, and RSVPs are entered into a prize drawing.
Career Planning Workshop #1
Launch your next step at The Lighthouse! Our workshops are open to all ages—come to one or attend the series. Career Planning Workshop #1 will help you identify your strengths and interests, explore real pathways (college, trades, work, training, volunteering), and leave with a clear next step. Pizza provided. RSVP required.
Crane Fest Creative Corner
RSVP to reserve art supplies (limited to 30). Drop in anytime 2:30–5:00 pm at the Lighthouse Café to create an Old Hotel Art Contest entry, learn about Festival workshops, and sign up to volunteer. All ages welcome—children under 13 must be with an adult/caretaker.

Join us for the First Paycheck Challenge—a fun, teen-friendly budgeting game with snacks! Teens will learn simple ways to create a budget, make smart spending choices, and handle real-life “surprise expenses” in a team-based challenge.

Join us on Friday, December 5, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM at the Lighthouse Community Center for our annual Clothing & Shoes Giveaway. We will be offering new and gently used items for all ages, available at no cost to the community.
Each individual will receive two bags to fill.
