Volunteers Needed for English Classes!
We are looking for volunteers to help with our English classes every Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Lighthouse Community Center. Volunteers can sign up for the Tuesdays that work best for them and do not need to commit to every week.
Help set up, serve, and clean up the light dinner or snack for students.
You do not need to be bilingual for this role.
Bilingual Assistant support students during English class by welcoming them, helping with materials, and interpreting English/Spanish as needed. Volunteers are not expected to teach the class unless they would like to help in that way. You do not need to be an expert — just willing to help students feel comfortable and supported.
Fresh Fit Closet Volunteer (Sorting & Organizing)
Help us keep the Fresh Fit Closet welcoming and easy to browse! Volunteers assist with sorting donated clothing, updating inventory on the racks/shelves (seasonal swaps, sizing, restocking), and organizing the space so everything is neat, labeled, and accessible. Great for anyone who enjoys organizing, working behind-the-scenes, and helping our community look and feel their best.
