Play. Create. Lead.
More than just play—Lighthouse Kids Club helps kids discover new skills, make friends, and build confidence in a fun, safe space.
Play. Create. Lead.
Play and creative activities are essential for healthy child development. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, play supports cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being, helping children develop critical skills like problem-solving, communication, and self-control. Studies show that creative play boosts brain development and strengthens executive function—the foundation for leadership and decision-making. When kids engage in hands-on activities in a safe, supportive environment, they build confidence and learn to take initiative, laying the groundwork for strong leadership and lifelong learning.
Stay tuned for more opportunities to PLAY, CREATE, and LEAD!
Volunteers Needed
Teens (13+) and adults are invited to gain leadership experience and earn community service hours by helping lead fun, hands-on activity stations at our monthly Kids Club events.
Volunteers play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging environment for kids—and this pilot program may lead to future paid positions for youth leaders!
